Hi, I'm Cameron.
I run Riposte, a cyber risk intelligence company. I also build and look after websites for small businesses and community groups around the Atherton Tablelands, because they deserve the same care with their security that big organisations pay for.
Who you're dealing with
After a 20-year career in the Australian Army, I moved into cyber risk, building cyber risk programs for insurers and the businesses they cover. In 2022 I founded Riposte, a cyber risk intelligence company, and I still run it. Its whole approach is getting ahead of an attack, not cleaning up after one.
That work has shown me what actually goes wrong, in organisations of every size: the email that wasn't really from who it said, the website nobody had updated in years, the login left wide open. Almost all of it was preventable, and it's that experience I bring to your website.

Why I build websites as well
In my work I see the same security and risk problems again and again, in businesses large and small. Most are easy to fix if you have access to the know-how. Big organisations have it on hand. Most small businesses don't, and they're just as much a target.
So I've decided to do something about it in my own community. It's my way of giving back. When you work with me, you're not getting a hobbyist with a website builder. You're getting someone who assesses cyber risk for a living, applying the same thinking to your website, your email and your online presence.
What I do
- Fix the common security problems. The same handful of issues turn up in small and medium businesses all the time: email anyone can fake, websites running software nobody has patched in years, logins left wide open. Most are quick to fix once someone knows where to look.
- Cut what your website costs to run. No monthly hosting bill and no platform fee. Your domain is the only running cost.
- Get you found, by people and by AI. Your website is a big part of how customers find you and decide to buy. The way people search is changing fast, and AI assistants like ChatGPT and Gemini are now part of how they choose. I make sure your site is visible, and ready for Google and for AI.
How I work
- Honest, even when it costs me the job. If your current website is the right fit, I'll tell you, and tell you what to tidy up where you are. Moving you only makes sense if you come out ahead.
- Security-first. Security is part of how every site is built, not an extra.
- Yours, not mine. Every account is created in your name. I'm a helper you can remove at any time.
- Small and careful. A few clients at a time, each with the same process and the same attention.
- Plain English. No jargon, and step-by-step instructions, with pictures, for anything you need to do.
